Gary Zieff – Clean Energy Strategist & Advisor

Gary is a clean energy strategist and advisor with over 20 years experience designing and implementing energy market frameworks, corporate procurement strategies, and investment platforms across global markets.

He specializes in bridging policy, finance, and commercial execution, advising multinational corporations, investors, lenders and government on how to structure and scale clean energy solutions in complex and emerging markets.  His work spans corporate PPAs distributed energy, market reform, and investment strategy.

Gary has led multi-stakeholder initiatives that align public and private sector interests, working closely with national utilities, regulators, and international investors to advance renewable energy policy, enable market access and accelerate project deployment.

He has helped mobiles more than $1 billion in clean energy investment, including supporting over $500 million in project financing in Vietnam and enabling the development of more than 2 GW of renewable capacity.  He brings deep regional expertise across the United States, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe and is recognized for designing investment grade frameworks that unlock capital and drive energy transition at scale.

He is particularly known for pioneering corporate clean energy procurement frameworks, including direct power purchase agreements (DPPAs), that unlock private sector demand in emerging markets.
