Gary has over 20 years of experience leading the design and execution of energy transition strategies in global markets. He specializes in clean energy project development, strategy, energy policy advisory, financing, and corporate energy procurement. Gary has supported multinational corporations, NGOs, investors, lenders, and governments in crafting and implementing scalable clean energy solutions aligned with climate targets and national energy mandates.
With cross-sector experience as an energy market strategist, renewable energy consultant, and climate investment advisor, Gary’s leadership roles have guided collaborations between public and private stakeholders, including national utilities, regulators, and foreign investors, to shape renewable energy policy, market reform, and national energy planning.
Gary has mobilized more than $1 billion in clean energy investment globally, including supporting the financial close of $500 million in projects in Vietnam and advancing the development of 2 GW of new renewable capacity. He brings deep regional expertise across Southeast Asia, with particular focus on Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and is recognized for designing investment-grade programs and policies that unlock capital flows in emerging markets.
